He is currently the television voice for the Las Vegas Knights.

The Knights who are down to their equipment manager and goal.

But Dave Gosher, this is a team that has been winning.

Yeah, they've been really good for it.

You know, it's funny when you think about it.

They won eight of their first nine games.

They've had four different goalies.

Like, the goalie situation has just been kind of, it's been kind of comical. If it wasn't like, holy smokes, I've used four goalies in the first 10 or 11 games. But they've got a pretty good team. You know, this isn't, you guys in Atlanta when the thrashers came. Yeah, this isn't that.

Okay.

The way that the expansion draft was kind of constructed this time around, they were going to have a pretty good team. And they do. You know, this... They'll come back to the pack a bit. They lost the last... The first two games, this is part of a six-game road trip, and the team lost against the Islanders and the Rangers and gave up six goals in each game. they'll come back to the pack a bit, but this isn't the thrashers or Columbus. People care about this team.

Yeah, well, I'm saying the talent level. Like Ray Ferraro was the best player on the Thrashers. And they have like Jeff Hodgers and stuff. Like, yeah, there was a terrible team. They've, you know, the way with the way that was constructed, you can only protect a certain amount of players.

Yeah.

They were going to have some pretty good players to choose from, but they're also trying to build it for the long term, and they've got a surplus of draft picks that they'll get to down the road. All right. Before we get into the hockey specifics, I want to know about the how weird a town Las Vegas is to live in. because many people, they fly out there, they go for the weekend, and, you know, they basically chews you up and spits you out. Right. You come back. Yeah. See, they're hanging there three days, and you're like, oh, boy. Is it strange to live in a city like that? No, you know what's funny about it, Rich, is that, and I wondered about it when all this happened. Well, there's two things. One is they have a twin practice rink out in Summerlin where I'm renting a house right now. So they practice, kind of like the Bruins practice at Warrior all the time. They're not at the garden much here. The team in Vegas isn't on the, they're only on the strip for the games. You know, T-Mobile Arena is beautiful. It's right behind New York, New York.

So the answer is not really.

Like, I'm kind of out near Red Rock Canyon, mountains. It's like it's beautiful. I never knew that. My experience in Vegas was yours. You go there for four days, and after four days you need to go home. Yep. Four days is a bull. Yeah. Yeah, maybe three, right?
