For those unfamiliar, Dave Dameshack entered most of our lives to the 2006 Adam Cora morning show that aired throughout select markets markets on the West Coast after Howard Stern took his contract in serious. The markets were divided up East Coast, Midwest, and West Coast, Adam Crollow got the West Coast territory. And on its very first episode, Dave Damashick was there as a sports guy, co-host, extra voice in the room. A little bit jarring to everybody who wasn't familiar

to who he was. Of course, he'd been working on The Man Show and working with Adam for years, so Adam was very familiar with Dave Damashek and had a great rapport with him, and they were very funny together. But for people who didn't know who this guy was at all, was like, what's his voice? What I don't understand what's happening? And then we had Rachel Perry, who was the original newsgirl. It was all very confusing.

After all of that, he did the entire

year of 2006, which is considered

almost... was happening and then we had Rachel Perry who was the original newsgirl it was all very confusing uh after all of that he did the entire year of 2006 which is considered almost most people's

1:32.3

favorite year of the adam corolla show i'm a 2008 guy for personal reasons but i really like

1:38.1

dave in 2006 it's a year of radio that can never be matched or recreated if you haven't heard it

1:42.4

track it down after the radio show collapsed Dave came over and began guesting on the podcast, eventually doing the podcast Dave's of Thunder with his friend Dave Feeney. It's considered one of the all-time greatest podcasts ever made. It's got in-jokes, and people have done like 20 re-listens on it. It's got, I think they came back and did a few more after that. This is him back in 2009 with Just the Ace Man. Hope you guys enjoy. Dave Damme-Shek. Good to see, Shek. Word up, Ace. It's been too long. You're looking well. Thank you. I want to complain about a few things. I know you have

2:19.1

things to complain about as well. I do. Yes, as always. Yeah. Had it happened this morning,

2:24.9

people showing up early. Oh, yeah. That's what I, you know, that, it's funny you say that

2:29.7

because I think my earliest memory of Adam Carolla is you complaining about the garbage truck showing up

2:36.2

at an ungodly hour.

2:38.1

Well, people think that it's a great form to show up early.

2:42.5

They think they're actually more evolved when it's really not the case at all, especially

2:46.5

for morning things.

2:48.3

There were a bunch of people that were supposed to show up at my house at 9.30 this morning.

2:54.4

And the buzzer started ringing at 9.10.

2:58.7

And when you tell people to show up at 9.30 in the morning and they show up at 9.10,

3:04.3

you're rarely ever sitting there with your nose pressed against the glass, petting a Persian can't and thinking, when will my guests arrive?

3:12.3

You're either in the shower or you're like cooking breakfast for your kids.

3:17.7

Wherever you are, you're caught off guard because you had an agreement with this person.
