Rivian gets an incentive from the prairies state and Apple announces a record-making buyback.

Dave and Busters entertainment is planning to launch online betting on arcade games. The company this week said it would integrate sports betting platform

Lucra software into its app with the launch expected in the next few months.

Dave and Buster's loyalty members will be able to make small bets of five to ten bucks on arcade games through its app.

The app features games like ski ball, hot shots basketball, dance,

dance revolution, billiards, and air hockey.

But some fear the new app feature could eventually lead to increased gambling problems among young people.

It is noteworthy to say that Lucra does not use terms like bet or wager on its platform

and instead uses words like real money contests.

The games are not subject to traditional betting rules because they're considered to be based on skill and not chance.

Rivian Automotive shot higher in afternoon trading on Thursday after the company announced that it has received an incentive package from the state of Illinois.

The $827 million package from the State of Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity

will allow the company to expand operations at the

plant in normal Illinois.

The money will also provide for improvements in public infrastructure and job training programs

for the local workforce.

Rivian CEO said in a statement that the support from the state will allow them to quickly

bring their mid-sized SUV, the R2 to market and provide even greater consumer choice for EVs.

Rivian Automotive closed 6.7% higher on Thursday.
