And we have this week's great life, David Tainan O'Mani, or better known to us as Dave Allen, smooth, suave, sit-down stand-up comic.

He's championed this week by actor and comedian Adil Ray. Adil started off his career as a broadcaster and presenter working with the Asian

Network, then Radio 5 Live to Radio 2, along with some TV work, but it was his taking a role in the BBC One series Citizen Khan, a comedy

about a Pakistani self-appointed community leader from Birmingham that was perhaps when his

national reputation really took off.

Adil, you've got yourself into deep water for your series Citizen Khan,

the first provoking a number of complaints from viewers who didn't like poking fun at Islam and what

they saw as stereotyping Asians.

And Dave Allen too got himself into trouble with being pretty impertinent about religion.

There's a meeting of minds here.

Is this what drew you to him in the first place?

Well I just thought I'd take this opportunity to blame Dave Allen really.
