0:00.0	My entitled daughter is mocking and making fun of her brother after he got into motorcycle accident and lost part of his foot and his hand, thus making it impossible for him to play Division 1 basketball in college.
0:12.2	And after hearing her mock her brother relentlessly on the phone to her friends,
0:16.1	I'm seriously considering not paying for her future college education. And at this point,
0:20.5	I seriously don't know what to do.
0:22.5	Here's what happened.
0:23.5	So I'm a widow from a previous marriage,
0:25.6	and so is my wife.
0:26.9	She has a son who's 19 years old from her previous marriage,
0:30.2	and I have a daughter as well.
0:31.8	We dated for roughly five years before being married for three years now,
0:36.0	and our kids have known each other since the beginning.
0:38.0	No major fights or any weirdness,
0:40.0	besides getting to know someone else as a parent and a guardian.
0:43.2	My son was a tremendous athlete in basketball
0:46.1	and I used to play in college at a school I'm sure none of you have heard of.
0:49.6	Regardless, I know the ins and outs of basketball and when he asked me to coach him I was more than happy to.
0:55.7	It turns out that he was good, really good.
0:58.2	He was so good he could play in Division 1.
1:00.9	My wife is a controller and I'm a pharmacist and together we make a very, very comfortable
1:05.8	living but we're not rich. So when my son was getting scholarship offers for basketball,
1:10.9	I realized we could pay for my daughter's college in full and neither of them
1:14.6	would have any student loan debt when they graduate.
