Dash Long is a skier who's been doing it and going big for a long time.

And tomorrow, October 8th, is the online release of Dash's latest film, Stone's Throat.

So I spoke to Dash about this new film of his and about ski films in general, which,

as you're about to hear, Dash thinks

about a lot. We talk about his coming up during the heyday of the free skiing revolution

in Tahoe. We talk about ski design and the DPS Kuala 119 the Dash has been working on and

more. And so let's go ahead and get to my conversation with the star of Stone's

Throw Dash Long. Well, Dash, how are you today and where are you today? Hey, band, I am

hanging out in Salt Lake City and just at my house here. I'm working from home today so I could do this with you.

And I'm doing wonderful.

And you have a movie premiere. Let's talk a little bit about this. What have you been working on here?

I signed with DPS skis. Last year was my first season on their skis and working with them.

And with that, came the opportunity to do a cinematic episode. If you know about their

cinematic film series or not, they've been doing it for six years about.

And they make a series of short films each year,

maybe two or three.

So I was able to, in conjunction with what we'd been working on

with skis also make one of these episodes.

And because I'm kind of a maniac, and I have grandiose visions, I wanted to do something really special.
