Summary

At sixteen, he was destined to become the family healer—until curiosity pulled him into a two-year spiral of ecstasy pills, designer drugs, and midnight parties with strangers twice his age. The deeper he dove, the darker the world around him became: a woman-turned-baby scream that vanished in thin air, cult-like barter fairs hidden deep in Washington’s woods, and the red-eyed dragon face that rushed straight into his soul. Night terrors, living “zombies,” and swirling clouds of black energy followed him home, shoving him to the brink of madness—and showing him that evil doesn’t always need a demon to call it forth. Sometimes we summon it ourselves. Can faith and family pull him back before the darkness claims him for good?
