I'm going to be talking to this topic, darkness and the city of angels, evil as a theme, vice as a fact, in the entertainment industry.

And I'm using entertainment industry here rather broadly.

but not exclusively on the coast, but largely on the coast.

And want to try to introduce an element of philosophical thinking about some of these matters.

I think originally this was probably going to be a smaller and private affair,

and then I think I was going to talk about maybe evil as a general theme. But in the interim,

of one kind or another. And so it seemed sensible, actually,. And, well, I'll come to this later on.

It seems to me up to this point the commentary on these matters has generally been rather poor.

And part of that, I think the reason for that is that actually people find it very difficult

to come to terms with the reality that is being revealed.
