To discuss this and more, I'm joined by Robbie Martin of the Media Roots podcast, Mean Politics,

and the creator of the documentary film series, A Very Heavy Agenda.

But before we get into the topic at hand, Robbie just put out an amazing two-part podcast mini-series

on the newest neoconservative apparatus

that is now dominating major parts of the media sphere with regards to coronavirus.

And there are a lot of disturbing links between these new groups and the dark winter

crowd we'll be getting to here in a moment.

So, Robbie, can you give us a quick summary about your new mini-series?

Thanks for having me on the first episode of your new podcast.

Yeah.

So my new series is tracking the activities of this think tank called the Committee on the

present danger.

It's a think tank that has existed several times before in recent history. It first

existed in the 1950s. It was seemingly most influential during the Reagan administration when 33

of its members went inside the Reagan administration, including Richard Pearl, CIA director William Casey,

and a bunch of other very household names from the Reagan administration.
