He's not going to be able to join us.

So I am taking the show solo today.

Thankfully, I think I even though I am

obviously prepping for for two, I think I have enough material today and enough on my mind to keep us going for a good portion of the show.

And some of it is actually clips like I wanted to really, really dig into this Tucker Carlson clip from the other night.

Mary's talking about the January 6th insurrectionists slash the Stephen Colbert insurrectionists.

And when I first saw this, I didn't really pay it any mind.

I was like, whatever, it's just one of those things.

But like the more I read about it, the more I realize that it's, it's really not, it's really something.

So we'll start there, I guess.

Julie Kelly has a great column here in American greatness called justice for J 16.

She starts off and all and already overworked grand jury in Washington DC.

Presumably will be very busy in the days to come.

For nearly 18 months at the behest of Joe Biden's justice department, grand jury's and nation's capital have issued nonstop flood of criminal indictments against Americans who protested Joe Biden's election on January 6th, 2021.

Hundreds of people who peacefully entered the Capitol building as police stood by face serious felony charges punishable by decades in prison.

Even those accused of low level misdemeanors such as parading in the Capitol have been sentenced to months in jail.

Now following last week's arrest of Democratic Party activist disguised as staffers for the late show, the late show with Stephen Colbert for unauthorized incursions into Capitol buildings.

One must assume prosecutors are hastily preparing similar indictments against Colbert's team to reflect a fair handling of the two incidents.
