comes to us from Michelle, and Michelle's encounter is called Bloody Mary. Michelle says,

I think most of us have heard of the story of the Bloody Mary ritual. You do the ritual in front of a dark mirror, and she's supposed to show herself to you in that mirror.

Well, this is my story.

It was about 20 years ago, and I was 10.

We had just come home from school where we heard the Bloody Mary ritual, and of course, wanted to try it out. It was my best

friend, little brother, and myself. We went into the small bathroom we had at my house. The toilet

sits in front of the large mirror across the sink. There are no windows, so it gets very dark.

I sat on the toilet lid facing the mirror while my best friend and brother did the

ritual. The way that we heard it was that you say her name, Bloody Mary, and turn around repeated

three times. Then she's supposed to appear. So they did. They said her name and turned around

three times. Then we all looked into the mirror, and, unsurprisingly,

nothing happened. Absolutely nothing. So we just went about our day. That night, we had a sleepover.

It was my best friend and little brother on the floor, and myself in my bed, and we were all

facing the window on the wall. At some point during the night, not noticing the exact time, we all woke up.

We saw a redness coming in from the room through the window.

Now, when I say redness, it wasn't a light, mist, or even a substance.

It was just some sort of redness.

It creeped in through the sides of the windows and slowly started to cover

the walls and even the ceilings. My initial thought was, what is happening? I was so scared I ran to get my

mom because she would know what to do. I woke her up and we then came back into my room, only to see

that it had disappeared.
