So we are the descendants of those who were punished for their power.

The word witch once meant wise woman. And I think it still does, personally.

It's a keeper of cycles, of intuition, of connection with the earth. Reclaiming that word today,

even symbolically, is about reclaiming permission to be powerful again. People are afraid even today

to say they're a witch just because how much the patriarchy has a hold over people's mind of what a witch is.

When we talk about shadow work or dark feminine energy, we're not flirting with danger.

We're remembering the parts of ourselves that have been exiled.

And every time we do that, we heal a little piece of history, I believe, because your

darkness isn't a curse, truly. It's a compass for you. It points you towards what still needs

love, still needs healing, still needs some grace.

If I were to ever call myself a witch, which I do witchy practices or use witchy tools or I'm

kind of witchy, I am, I am. Obviously. Obviously. Look at my podcast. But

I'd be one who would say I like light witchy magic, who works in energy for healing and creativity

and connection. I'm really not into dark magic. Never have been. Nope. But I do believe in understanding the whole spectrum, right? Because

the moment we fear something blindly, it starts to control the story. So tonight's conversation

isn't about practicing black magic. It's about seeing the truth behind it. Where the myth came from, what dark really means, and how the divine

feminine in all her mystery was turned into something people were actually taught to fear.
