Gino Smith was being investigated for allegations of assault.

Andrew Erickson, does this make you still feel good about Gino Smith?

I'm just curious.

No, these are not the headlines I want my, my Dark Horse.

Not my Dark Horse MVP candidate.

Maybe my Dark Horse second quarterback in a Superflex format type of target. Not what I want to see from the Jets quarterback. No, no, certainly not good. Now, again, a lot of the details are muddy as they always seem to be, Dibro, for all these situations. I mean, if we had a week go by where we had an

NFL player, not in some sort of abuse or, I don't know, DV scandal, it would be great. I'd love that. I'd love to see that. Smith did sign a one-year contract with the Jets. So, again, this is not the buzz you want, especially returning to New York City, the media hub of all media hubs. So, Debrough, this seems like not a great time for this kind of issue.

It's never a good time for this issue, but especially for Gino Smith trying to get back

in to a groove here with a franchise where, let's just say, the fan base and he had a bad

parting of ways.
