You have such an incredible story. Can you tell listeners a little bit about growing up what the grief

that lived in your house, you said at one point, my mother was at war with grief, which is such a beautiful sort of, you can just

picture what that might look like for a child. Tell listeners a little bit about what it was

like growing up, and then we'll go from there. Yeah, of course. Thank you. As I share in the book,

my mother was the youngest and only daughter in her family, and she was really close to my grandmother, who was frankly a second mother to me.

And she was killed in a tragic car accident when I was seven years old.

So my mom was young.

We were very young, my sister and I.
