Summary

Will Ben Affleck’s Daredevil return in Avengers Doomsday? Welcome back to New Rockstars presents, The Road to Doomsday! In this episode, Gina Ippolito and Erik Voss revisit 2003's Daredevil, starring Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner, and its 2005 spinoff Elektra. The first of those are where Kevin Feige met Jon Favreau, forming the relationship they would use to create Iron Man. And these movies technically are MCU canon with Elektra returning in Deadpool & Wolverine. What elements from this chapter of Marvel history could come back in Doomsday or Secret Wars? could return in titles like Avengers Doomsday, really the question we should be asking is what other incarnations of the Devil of Hell's Kitchen will be in battle world waiting for them? That's right, it's time to revisit 2003's Daredevil in 2005's Elektra, starring Ben Affleck, Jennifer Garner, future Iron Man director John Favreau, future Wonder Man scene stealer Joe Pantzliano, Michael Clark Duncan's version of Kingpin with muscles, even a jacked Vincent DiNofrio, could only dream of. And Colin Farrell's bullseye, who was so unhinged and makes the decks we are now living with tame by comparison. Jennifer Garner's lecture returned in the void, aka the future battle world of Dr. Doom, and Deadpool and Wolverine, and even referenced Herb and Affleck Daredevil. Every time one of us has gone up against her, they die. The Punisher, the Quicksilver, the Daredevil. Daredevil, I'm so sorry. That's fine. So with that line, all of the events in both of these films categor categorized as Earth 701 306, are MCU

Well, in this fourth episode of The Road to Doomsday podcast series, Gina and I team up to rock out to some evanescence and reveal the true version of 2003's Daredevil that you really should watch. Yeah, there's a Culeo cut, and we're going to release the Cullio cut. But before we on-ramp on the road, programming update, starting in February, Road to Tomsday episodes will sometimes have weeks where we release two episodes for you. We're going to stay on Saturdays, but now on certain Wednesdays we're also going to have bonus episodes. After getting some feedback from you all, we realized that there are just some other titles that we wanted to revisit this year, and we also wanted to be able to have more episodes that focused on just one movie at a time so we could talk about those movies more in depth, which required us to make more episodes of this. So here's the programming calendar for the month of February for the Road to Jum's Day. The next episode will be on Saturday, February 7th, episode 5, covering Angley's Hulk from 2003. Following that on Saturday,, February 14th, will be episode six, covering
