Hello, buddy. Welcome to the Vendn TV and a bit of a special show for you. My name is Dan Claude. I'm absolutely delighted to be joined by Mike, Chris and Paul. Gentlemen, first off, how are we good?

Very good, good, good, good. We've got a really, really sort of important topic to discuss over the course of the next 15, 20 minutes or so. And to begin, Mike, I think I'll come to you first because obviously it's March of the day three coming up, number three, yeah. So tell us a little bit about the events, how it came about, and what it's in aid of, if you don't mind. Well, it's actually this man's fault on my left here because we came up with the idea for March of the day. So the background is I work for Darby Rimmer

M&D Foundation, which was established by Stephen Darby, obviously former Liverpool player

after he was diagnosed with MND. And we arranged various fundraising walks for the foundation, and one of which was we were we we staged something in i think

it's 2022 2020 maybe um after the passing of steams co-founder chris rimmer we were staging the event

and we were sat outside Marine Football Club

and there was myself

Steve Wood who is

the person I arranged the walks with

and Chris and

Jay Spearing and we were having a conversation

where we were saying we need to do something massive

and from that point onwards we came up with the idea of March of the Day, which essentially

they have been, the two previous ones have been kind of 200 mile walks, continuous walks

around various football grounds.

The first one in 2024 started off at Bradford City,

where Stephen probably endured the best parts of his career.

And finished at Anfield where obviously he started.

And we visited, I think, 20 other football clubs on the way.

And by that time,

Marcus Stewart had come on board after his diagnosis of M&D.

And so we went to clubs that he played for as well.
