diagnosing whiteness, white psychopathology, collective psychosis, and trauma in America.

And while I cannot wait to dive into that book, Dante has been walking us through his first book,

entitled The 400-year Holocaust, White America's legal, psychopathic, and sociopathic Black

Genocide, and the revolt against critical race theory. Joining me once again is Dante King.

Dante, welcome back to the podcast. It's a pleasure to have you here. It is a pleasure to be here

every time. Thank you. Thank you. I want to dip now into a section of your book that explores the creation of whiteness.

We've spent several episodes talking about what anti-blackness looks like and how anti-blackness

shows up in society, but you devote a significant amount of time to the creation of whiteness.

And for a lot of people, it might be shocking to realize that white people did not always go by the term white.

In fact, whiteness is a pretty recent creation in the context of the time span that humans have been on the earth.

And I want to start by looking at this quote that you include in your book by Tony Morrison.

Tony Morrison in a 1993 interview with Charlie Rose was asked to talk about something

in connection to what Arthur Ash had said as he was speaking about his experiences living with

the realities of racism versus living with the realities of AIDS, HIV AIDS. And Tony Morrison said

in that interview, and you include this quote here in the text, she says, don't you understand that the people who practice racism are bereft there is something

distorted about the psyche it's a huge waste and it's a corruption and a distortion it's

like a profound neurosis that nobody examines for what it is it feels crazy is crazy. And it has just as much of a deleterious
