in 10 lifetimes. My personal favorite is his starring role in the Assassin's Creed

video games, but I'm keen to find out more about him

away from the career achievements, away

from the cult books and the films and the novels

and the TV shows.

I've known him for years, but I don't actually know him very well. He's here to talk about his latest book,

Fuck You Very Much, which is an attempt to unravel why people are rude

and also why they're getting ruder. Do you know why I find you so fascinating?

Would you like to? Well, okay.

You've done so much cool stuff in your career and yet you've never seen to me to be particularly ambitious.

Just on the rare occasions where our paths have crossed.

You haven't struck me as one of those people that's constantly banging on doors,

hoping one of them will open, or is looking at other people's success

and feeling, as Gorvideau put it,

a little bit of you die inside every time someone you know does well.

And yet and this is probably me wrong.

You seem for at least the best part of 15 20 years to have been writing your own ticket.

Well sort of that's that's kind of the hope and the ideal and my sort of philosophy to it has always been go where the fun is, right? But try and do the fun

well because then you'll get asked to have fun again. And either the fun will be in the same area
