So this week marks the true start of the holiday season. I know that Mariah Carey famously proclaims that it's time every year the day after Halloween,

the minute the clock strikes midnight on November 1st.

But I have a hard time getting into the holiday vibes until Thanksgiving.

I go home every year to D.C., spend time with family, try to unplug, chill with the dogs,

eat a lot. And that really is what gets me in the festive mood. That being said, I started getting

the feels a week early this year as I started prepping for today's episode of Gapin with Gibb,

which features a long chat with Danny Pellegrino. Danny is the host of Everything Iconic, the prolific podcast on which he recaps Bravo shows, talks about pop culture, and interviews celebrities. Danny has always been such a light in the online community around Bravo, and there have been numerous times over the years where he's made an effort to support me, and I've tried to do the same for him. Even though his platform is much bigger than mine, I feel connected to Danny in a real way, and I think we have similar outlets on this world that are both part of. Also, something that made me LOL was when looking at Danny's name on my booking schedule, I realized that a few weeks in, he's my first male guest on the show, which honestly tracks.
