Thanks for joining me, really appreciate the time. First off, let's get some general chit-chat the way you're enjoying life up here. I am, yeah. Obviously, I would have liked to have played more, but in terms of the experience and the group that I here is fantastic. We haven't achieved what we've kind of expected to achieve the squad we've got, but now, I've enjoyed it.

Good, good, good. And enjoy your time of Liverpool?

I loved it. I loved it. And I think, looking back, I think a lot of people probably think that I didn't because of the injuries that I had.

But I think the whole experience of being at that football club, the size of that club. And all of the people associated with the club really helped me, you know, overcome those

tough times and made me actually enjoy my time there 100%.

I got that impression from you.

It's a bit of a strange question because, as you say, injuries were a big part, unfortunately,

of your time there, but I always got the sense that despite that you were all, you were just enjoying every single moment. You do hold some really fond memories from your time at Anfield. I do, yeah. And you know, I don't like to look back at my time at Liverpool, you know, just the injuries. I think even with the injuries, I still left a better player than when I got there. I think that's down to the lads that I played with, you know, the staff, the coaches, the fans as well, which I still to this day, I come across Liverpool fans all the time.

They're so kind to me considering I wasn't able to kind of perform to the levels that I wanted to there.

So yeah, overall, just a fantastic club and I loved every minute of it.

Absolutely. And a Derby goal as well to walk off with. So not too bad. And we're speaking ahead of the Derby's weekend as well. You mentioned some of the players there. And we're going to dive into a couple of them because we now know, of course, that two Liverpool legends are moving on at the end of the season and we'll begin begin with Mohammed Sala. Now, the easy place to start with this is your first impressions of Moaxi, because he comes in, obviously you'd had the experience at Chelsea, he probably hadn't gone the way he would have wanted. He's gone away, sort of reinvented himself, if you like, and his time at Italy's been excellent. But, you know, in the modern game,

it's quite a low transfer for him, many senses.

Certainly for the player that he then goes on to become.

So when Mo first arrives, what sort of the feeling,

what's the buzz, what are your first sort of thoughts about him?

Straight away, I could see the hunger.

And as you guys know, he's the first one in the gym. He worked so hard to improve himself. And I think from the outside looking in, fans, you know, other people, they don't see

that side of things. And I think the biggest thing that I noticed straight away was his work ethic

is insane. And that's why, you know, he's super fast, super strong. And he just has a nose for it. He's always in the right positions. And yeah, apart from that, he's an unbelievable guy as well. I don't know he touched on it before, but he was one of the guys that really helped me when I was going for a really tough moment. So yeah, a great guy.
