Hey guys, welcome back to Sports Spectrum.

I am Jason Romano, and we're doing something a little different today. We welcome Danielle Herzlick to the show. She is the wife to former NFL linebacker Mark Herzlick. And we had Mark on the podcast last year or so. I know it was during the pandemic when we talked to him and now we get to welcome Danielle here today. Hi, Danielle. How are you?

I'm good. How are you? I'm great. It's good to have you here on the show. Why don't we share a little

bit about yourself, your background and, you know, maybe even a little bit of how you became an NFL wife

to your husband, Mark. Okay. I'm not sure where to start, but yeah, I grew up in, in Boston, in a really big Italian family,

Italian and Armenian family.

My family is extremely important to me.

But, yeah, I, you know, it's interesting because I always talk about this dynamic that I grew up in.

My mom is the most incredible human being in the world and is truly my hero in life and instilled so

many of the traits and characteristics that, you know, fuel me and fuel my passion for justice

now. They actually all came from her and her heart for Jesus and service. So that all came from her. And then on the other side

of my childhood, I experienced or witnessed violence in my home every day of my childhood.

So at the hand of my childhood. So,
