Well, I am honored to be here. Thank you for having me. Well, this book is an important book.

You, you DeSuzes get serious, even though your new surname is DeSuza Gill. This is an important

book that you've written. I know because I've read it. You write about

abortion and the title of the book is The Choice, The Abortion Divide in America. This is not your

first book, but let me ask you, why did you write a book about abortion and what did you think

could be said about abortion that hasn't

already been said well i felt like the abortion debate had gotten very stagnant in the sense that

you know a lot has actually changed since 1973 and roe v wade you know back then people said things like

you know maybe there's potential life in the womb and maybe we have to give it the benefit of the doubt and so on.

But with the development of ultrasound, with seeing the baby in the womb, hearing the heartbeat, the viability moving earlier and earlier, there are just so many new facts when it comes to abortion.

I think also the left has changed on abortion.
