Gullis and James Koker. We're currently one week deep into this late season,

one week deep into this late season three week break at the moment

where not a lot is going on but we have got some news to dive into now it is

absolutely official now that Daniel Ricardo will be leaving our beat.

It was as per usual announced the day after we had recorded a podcast.

Seems to always be the case, but James James if you haven't gone and seen it

recorded a very good piece all talking about Daniel Ricardo so if you don't make sure you go

check that out but that potentially could be the end of his Formula One career.

James, do we feel like it's the end or do we feel there's something around the corner?

You know, I feel like Formula One never fails to surprise us so I would not be

surprised if maybe there's some situation going on where maybe Checo is retiring after the Mexico Grand Prix and then

Daniel Ricardo finishes out the season in a seat. I don't know. I'm just like, this is me wearing my like tin foil conspiracy hat yeah but you never know.

I feel like the the chances that this was Daniel Ricardo's last race in Formula One is 50-50.

Yeah. I feel like the way it was handled and the way the team sort of like before the

Grand Prix wasn't super duper official with it,

maybe suggest that everything's not over yet.

Because obviously, you know, we look back to the summer break and then were the rumors of

Checo was out Ricardo was in Lawson was then replacing him and that's how it's gonna go and then we got

you know a week later checko stays then was was like wait what we're really really confused.

I'm seeing little bits bits and pieces, Kim Ilman being on like on an Ozzy talk show I think it was being like

ah there's a surprise around the corner or something like that like this isn't over yet it's like why you teased us with that like what do you know what do you know that we don't and maybe that you know there's that truth of yeah Mexican Grand Prix retirement, regarded as the last few races, who knows but it's just...
