Hello, part I'm Chris Hewitt and welcome to this very special edition of the Empire Podcast.

Daniel Radcliffe and Empire are seen inextricably linked on some weird subconscious level.

We were both born in the same year, 1989.

That is to say, Daniel Radcliffe and Empire are not Daniel Radcliffe and me.

I am a little bit older.

We both enjoyed long walks in the countryside.

When you prick Daniel Radcliffe, we bleed weirdly enough.

He's been a huge part of Empire since 2001 when he first played you know who, in you know who,

and the what's it of thingy.

Oh wait, sorry, Ray finds played, you know who Daniel Radcliffe played, watch him,

he'll call him.

But since graduating from Hogwarts in 2011,

Radcliffe has expanded his horizons as an actor,

and nowhere as a greater illustrator than an occurrence cinematic double bill of Imperium,

where he plays an FBI agent infiltrating a gang of white supremacists,

and one of my favourite films of the year, Swiss Armyman, where he plays,

let's be honest, a farting corpse.

But of course, it's so much more than just a farting corpse,

and it is for my money Radcliffe's best performance, go see.

So, with that double bill in mind, we thought we'd nab a good old junk of Dan's time

and have a big old chap with him.
