Welcome to Sarah Gonzalez unfiltered. Happy Monday. So I recall the end of the week last week. It was Friday and Fridays, for those

of you who are new to the show, Fridays, we tape a little bit earlier than we normally tape.

And last Friday, of course, we tape this whole beginning of the show on the update with Daniel

Penny and how the jurors were deliberating and all of this.

And then, of course, right at the time that the show was airing, it totally changed.

Daniel Penny was, there was like a hung jury on one charge, but then they had to start

looking at another.

And I was like,

oh my gosh, of all the freaking times for this to happen. Well, I can now tell you, it's all said and done,

that Daniel Penny is now a free man. He was acquitted this morning on the criminally negligent

homicide charge that still remained for him, which, by the way,

it never should have. The way that this judge did this entire thing was just so illegal.

The judge was not even supposed to allow them to deliberate on the criminally negligent homicide

charge because the first charge

they were supposed to have found him guilty of before they moved on to that. But the jurors said,

no, actually, free this man. He is now acquitted, which is fantastic news for Daniel Penny and his

family. But, I mean, by the way, not fantastic news that he had to sit in jail for as long as he did waiting for his trial when anyone who is looking at the facts understands that this was a very clear case.

Same thing with Kyle Rittenhouse, right?

So it's great news that after he was put in that position,

he was eventually vindicated. But it's not stopping all of these left-wingerers who, you know,

they want to start their fear-mongering about right-wing racist vigilantism, which, of course,

led to arrests outside of the courthouse today soon after he was found acquitted, not guilty.
