Welcome, welcome, welcome, this is the distraction pieces podcast episode 417.

I hope you're all well. This week I'm joined by an amazing guest Mr Daniel Maize.

As you will hear from the chat I've been a fan of Danny's work for a long, long time but

our paths haven't crossed despite having a lot of mutual pals. So this was a real joy to just

jump on zoom and get into Danny's got a new series of temple just started and a new series of code 404.

So on its way or if I watch the latest one, either way there's loads of code 404 and yeah just loads

of really good stuff he's been doing this a long time and it was really good to have a chat with him.

He's exactly as lovely as everyone had promised me he is. Before we get into it thank you for everyone

for all the love for recent episodes last weeks Edgar Wright episode got a lot of love there was

a bonus episode last week with Paul Chowdry. Previous guests if you're a fan of Sam whose guests I've

had that he's worked with so Vicki McClure. Dave and Graham has been on three times now I think.

Just loads of really good people. Paddy Comt's a dying I think he comes up in conversation in this one

resammed certainly comes up in conversation. So yeah loads are really good guests over the years

plenty of you to sink your teeth into and speaking of good guest next week's guest is Katie Wicks who's

been in loads of amazing things. He's got a book on its way out but she's in Stafflet's Flats and

series three of that started last week and man tears of laughter as watching it with Chris Glassen

of hardcore listing and the drunk cast us helping him do is from decorating and we took a break

to watch an episode of that and honestly just absolutely in bits. Oh while I'm here actually

thanks for all the love a couple of Friday's ago on International STEM Rune Awareness Day.
