I'm your host, Damian Abraham, and today on the show, Daniel Kavinsky, one of the greatest vocalists of all time.

You may know him from the band Crosses.

You may also know him for the band Dichroitsyn.

We talk extensively about Dichrozen here, but Crosses have a brand new EP, the Outlier EP, which is a monster, fantastic record, six songs, including

a Dikroitsin song being reworked, a Hoosker Doe cover. This thing will be released on April 17th on

Triple I Industry Spectrum Records and Rushmore Records. So pick up the Outlier EP when it does come out.

Crosses have been around for a few years.

Played a show.

You can watch them do a great re kind of working live set of cows and beer.

Beers and cows, I think they called it, which is the Dicroitson's seminal Midwest hardcore record they put out.

But Dicroidson is like one of those bands that they're very important to Midwest hardcore,

but then they also become very important to this other, I know, noise rock scene,

pig fuck, I guess, the genre that was forced upon it at one point.

Extended universe kind of world that they kind of fit into.

And then they also kind of go kind of beyond that too, this sort of pre-Alterna-Rock explosion

moment.
