How firm a foundation,

Ye saints of the Lord is laid for your faith in his excellent word.

In 1 John chapter 4, God's word says,

Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits,

whether they are of God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. By this,

you know the spirit of God. Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh

is of God. And every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come

in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming

and is now already in the world. Well, these words were written by the Apostle John over 2,000 years ago,

which means the coming of the Antichrist is even closer now than it was

for him. And that makes this warning all the more important for us, doesn't it? So are you ready?

the Bible. I'm Steve Schwetz. And in our study, Dr. J. Vernon McGee tells us about the
