The other Babylonian wise men conspired to have Daniel killed by making the king sign a law that would send anyone caught praying to another god to be thrown into the lion's pit.

Daniel continued to pray as usual and the king wasn't able to undo the law,

so they threw him into the lions, but they didn't eat him.

In the morning, the king came back and threw all the leaders who made him sign the law

into the pit with their families.

Daniel had a dream about four beasts and another about ram and a goat.

Yeah, that's crazy. The funny thing is, when I grab my Bible here, I'll do it here. This is great radio.

When I grab my Bible that I have here that I've been reading for God knows how long, it's been five years or something, it feels just about done.

And we're not to the only part that matters. God, I know I say this a lot. But it's, there's

just a little sliver on the end that, oh, I still need to read a little bit of this book.

And I haven't yet gotten to the only part that supposedly matters at all.
