Welcome back to Danielle with the Stars. I am Danielle Fischel, your podcast host, but also a TV director, a mom of two, and a former actress who the world knows as Topanga, in the same way that Al Yankovic is Weird Al. But nowadays, I am solely responding to the title of Ballroom Dancer because I am competing

on the 34th season of Dancing with the Stars. And while I practice for multiple hours a day,

seven days a week, I'm still recording this show all about my experience in hopes that a young

girl might be listening and she learns that she too can be an ABC family sitcom star and then

30 years later participate in a reality competition show. And yes, I'm using this podcast to levy

an advantage and to search for the tricks of the trade by talking to pros, former contestants,

and even some of my peers because you can't spell experience without peer, sort of.

And today I am chatting with the two members of my Dancing with the Stars Alliance,

lovingly called Dillianella and Pasha.

You're the yingh. Pasha.

You're the ying to our yang, my no prior dance experience pal and the beloved life partner to my pro.

And as of this interview, they hold the season's highest score, clocking four nines on dedication night,

steadily climbing a mountain at a pace almost no one saw coming, but I did.

And that's why we are aligned.
