2026. I am Dave Biddle. I am joined by our special guest Jonathan Smith, aka T-Bone, from1, The Fan. Great to see you, my man. Thanks for your time. Good to see you, too. Thanks for having me on. I appreciate this. This is first time on the pod. I know Timmy does a lot with Pat Murphy and has done those for years. So, yeah, it's cool to be a part of this. Yeah, man, thanks for coming on. I mean, we, because, you know, I moonlight over there, have such a great staff over at 971. I wanted to get some of our listeners, get to know you guys. I had Maddie Ice on last Wednesday. We're going to have Timmy Hall on this coming Wednesday, Scotty Vegas Thursday. but today we got my guy T-bone. First of all, I've never asked you this.

I think I just have always assumed you got the nickname T-Bone from Seinfeld. George Costanza, am I right? Is that how you got the nickname T-bone? That is, yes. So there's a part of it that's Seinfeld, and then there's another part of it, I think it has to do with someone who used to work here because there was a guy used to work here who I think had some initials that were TNB.

And when I first started working here, they said I kind of looked like him.

And so I think common man who I obviously worked with Mike Rickerotti for years I think that's where that initially

started and then since they had those initials coupled with the you know the T-bone thing from

Seinfeld that was the combination of the two but yeah mostly the Seinfeld thing I had to think

about that the TB for a second that was before my time too but it before. It's not anyone anybody would probably know here at this point, but like, yeah, it was someone that, it just, we just looked similar. We were bald guys, basically. And so I think that's where that started. But yes, then it was, uh, because Crenzel, when he would come in, Craig would fill in sometimes,

and he would call me Coco the monkey based off of that. Because it's from that episode, if you, for those who've seen it, yeah, that's where that comes from. So, yeah, I'm just kind of stuck. And, hey, if people like it, I'm rolling with it. It's fine with me. Now my kids call me T-Bone, like friends at school are like, oh yeah, tell T-Bone.

I heard him say, you know, so like it's just, there's no getting away from it now. So I'm sure your wife loves being called Mrs. T-bone.

Mrs. Bone. She does get that. We call the House of Bone. It's a whole thing.

talking about people. That's what's paying his bills. So he is a member of the media.

It is funny when dudes are like former players like do that. I'll see that sometimes like, you know, like Ryan Clark, for example, like make fun of the media or something. Like, dude,

you're in the media. like you're probably making more money
