Summary

We’re so excited to be back for Season 5 of Leave It On The Dance Floor! We hope everyone had an amazing summer. There are so many incredible stories and guests coming your way this season, and we’re kicking it off with a special installment of our Dance Diaries series.

In this episode, Abby takes us back to the very beginning of her journey with her first-ever competition team. She shares what it was like traveling with that original group, choreographing her very first group routines, and learning how to lead both dancers—and parents. Things didn’t always go smoothly: from quick costume fixes to full-on drama, including one mom pulling her kids out of a routine right before a major trip to Vegas, Abby opens up about what it took to keep the show going.

Still competing under her mother Maryen Lorrain Miller’s name, these early days were full of lessons, laughter, and a glimpse at the fire that would fuel everything that came next. Long before the cameras—some things never change!

Not really off, off of leaving on the dance floor, but I have been traveling around the world. Hello, Michael. How are you? I'm doing amazing. We've been on Long Island this week. Yes. My God, I finally got you. I feel like I've been trying to chase you all over the world. Well, I guess lots of guys are chasing me all over the world. Yeah, no. I mean, it's been crazy. No, it's a country. Yeah, it's part of the UK, kind of, or the EU or something. I've been there. Okay, amazing. Oh, okay, very nice. You can't get off. You can't get on. It's rough. And you'd have to do a really big granget to get to the mainland. And then another little girl named Lacey. Lacey, I saw. I know that they had posted the winners. Yes. Yeah. Yeah. And she is from the UK. And I think she might be assisting me next season over there. Well, of course. I mean, you know, with Bella and Iris and everyone. Yes. So how was that? I know that you had said that it was a little bit more accessible than you had imagined.

You also went to Rome.

1:46.8

I know it's still not perfect, but everybody kept telling you you'd never be able to go to Rome. You'd never be able to go to Italy. What was the experience? You went to the Vatican? Just tell everybody. I went to the Vatican. There was a priest there, not the Pope. He was on vacation, of course.
