have wanted to sit down with since he got into town like I've when he started

covering the team it was towards the tail end of me covering the team so it

was fun to kind of compare notes and I would look forward to seeing him in

training camp in Burbon A to kind of pick his brain about what it is that he

was seeing what the bears looked like as an organization to him and rich

Campbell because they were they had clear eyes like both of those guys had clear

eyes on they weren't walking into this thing with any real preconceived notions

so it was good to always get their feedback and since then I've just enjoyed

his coverage of the bears Dan has done some of the real heavy lifting and deep

diving on to issues that matter and I appreciate that he's not just their

farming sound bites that he is really working hard to be investigative in his

beat reporting and that that takes some skill it takes some guts because we we

do live in a a place now where the relationship between media and team can be

strained and throughout this conversation you'll hear Dan and I actually
