It's the sports junkies on a veterans day. The fellows are out there back tomorrow. They get the nice day off. It's a weird Tuesday holiday. I'll take it, though. It makes it feel like the rest of the week is shorter. He's the no willing to him on that day. I would not say that. I would not agree with that. It definitely feels like the rest of the week is just as packed as it is. Well, today feels like it's a fake day. You know, anytime you and I get to do radio, it doesn't feel like a job.

We're not working, but we're off at 10. And the rest of the day is ours. So that is, that is new. I'm not even up by 10 some days. What a nice luxury that is. Oh, I was joking. Kind of. Kind of. Kind of.

I could not do that.

Big news yesterday.

We kind of knew this was going to happen at some point.

I questioned why it took so long.

Dan Quinn announced that he is taking over as play caller.

I believe Ben, we have the audio of him making the announcement, but he said this yesterday at a

press conference, and this comes after Washington lost its fourth game in a row of 21 or more

points, which is the first time that's happened in the NFL since 2003. So here's Dan Quinn

making the announcement that he's taking over play call.

You know, when something's not working, we shift from the question of why isn't it working to

what do we need to do to get right?

And right now, that'll call for some change.

And I'll take over the role as the defensive coordinator and all that entails.

I've known Joe's a right-hand man for years and he took the news like the pro he is.

As a defensive staff, including Joe, we're all consumed by getting it right.

And that's exactly what we intend to do.

So that was Dan Quinn yesterday making the change that he is going to be the defensive
