And that's how the commanders are wrapping up their mandatory minicamp, Logan.

Had a bunch of high school coaches in yesterday, which is kind of a fun deal.

And then today, family barbecue.

You flag this because you think this kind of stuff's really important.

As a guy who played 10 years in the NFL, why?

Yeah, so as a player, I probably wouldn't have thought of it.

The barbecue thing is different.

But the coaches thing, I kind of thought, I'd be like, you know, why are these guys here?

Like, what are they really gleaning from practice?

But I do think it's a great way to build relationships. relationships like some of the high school coaches that I have worked with, you know, in Independence and at Stonebridge were there. And it was cool to see the coaches on

staff come up and start talking with them, kind of building relationships.

And I thought, is there a better way to build a community around football than getting a

bunch of people who are obsessed with football out to a commander's practice?

Who are they going to go back and tell their high school kids, oh, gosh, yeah, the commander's

treated is so great.

Dan Quidd said this, like, just making yourself a pillar of that community.

And so, like, from a optics, marketing, from a relationship standpoint, like, I can't think

of a better group of people to have out there.

And it just seemed like a really nice thing. And then how accessible everyone was.
