and you spent years in the midst of one of the biggest.

What is it about you that you went into that?

Well, let's start with big, crazy things in the world, right?

I think, yes, that's true.

But I also think that so many of these big, crazy, huge, insurmountable feeling things start

really small, right?

It starts in the way that we interact with one another.

It's the way that our communities work.

It's the way that we build relationship with the parents at our kids' schools.

Right.

I think you can take these huge things and it can feel so overwhelming.

But then ultimately it's like, well, what if we changed the way that we got together

with our neighbor when we were frustrated about the tree that might fall on their property

and think about how we're going to deal with that conflict right because in my mind it's like

okay we can take these these seemingly small things and when they get out of hand they
