Let us talk about the college football playoff rankings because I didn't get to talk about them on the show.

Because it was that one week of the year, that glorious week, where ESPN decides to sandwich the rankings between two basketball games.

And now that I have this job in this show, which premieres at 8 p.m. Eastern every night,

well, we didn't get to talk about them on the show.

So you'll get to hear the rest of the show after this.

But first, let us discuss the CFP rankings.

Georgia has jumped Ohio State.

And I think as we watched Georgia Ole Miss, most of us came to the conclusion that it

was time to make Georgia the number one team in the country.

If you're an Ohio State fan, I understand you might be mad.

But I think probably just about anyone else is looking at that and say, you know what, Georgia does look like a rolling ball of butcher knives right now.

What they did against Ole Miss suggests they can beat anybody in the country on the right day, that if they are at their peak, if they're at optimum level,

Georgia is going to win a third consecutive national title.

I know that's kind of boring to think about, but here's the deal.

Georgia hasn't been that way every game this season.

So there's no guarantee that what you saw against Ole Miss

or what you saw against Kentucky is going to be the same team that you see in the college football playoff. But I would say that Georgia seems to be

evolving into that type of team. You get Brock Bowers back. This is the first time we've seen

Brock Bowers with a healthy Ladd-McConkiekey with a healthy Kendall Milton.

Guys, George's offense is better than it was last year.

Its defense is not as good as it was in 2022 and 2021, but the offense is better.
