Hello, guys, welcome to the Not the Top 20 podcast. Thank you for tuning in this week. We're going to be looking back at the EFL weekend. We are Ali Maxwell and George Ellick. And despite a few postponements, we've got plenty to get into George Ehrlich sitting opposite me.

Let's get cracking at the top of the championship. It was an odd week in the top half of the

champ. Here are the results of the teams who went into the weekend in the top half.

Draw, draw, draw, draw, haven't played as we record. One draw postponed. One draw, one, haven't played yet.

So we're off to QPR Brentford tonight after we record, so sadly can't talk about that. Good

chance for Brentford to win three games in eight days. They'd be the only team in the championship

to win three and three. But a good week in the top half, George, for Preston, for Swansea and for Birmingham.

And I think we'll start with Preston because it was a hell of a turnaround in an important game for them at home to Blackburn.

2-0 down after 15 minutes.

The good vibes, the good words from us keep coming, I guess, for

this Preston side. Yeah, it was the game I was following quite closely from the Oxford game

on Saturday, given that it was one of my tips on the betting show. So to see Blackburn

2-0 up after 11 minutes wasn't ideal, but I'm glad that we managed to turn it around

and Preston got the result for that reason and frustrating you have to say for Blackburn

I think it couldn't really have started better as I said on on the betting show they'd only won

two games away from home this season losing every other game so to go 2-0 up against a team

who hadn't lost at home for such a long time,

it was huge.

Gallagher getting off the mark for the club as well after a really, really barren spell.

I think he probably thought he'd scored two after ten minutes, but it turned out the first

one was an own goal, ricocheting off the woodwork and back onto Declan Rudd.
