We've got an interview with Dan Duggan of the Athletic today, the Tony Award winner, talking about free agency, the first offseason of John Harbaugh, the dynamic there with Joe Shane and everything that goes with that. So good interview with him. No signings except for one since the last time that we ended up recording. The Giants did sign a defensive tackle on Sam Roberts. Uh, I do actually, did watch some film and looked up some stuff on him. So I want to get to that. But we are at the point now where it's like guard and defense tackle have been just extremely quiet. I mean, we're getting into draft month, which I am very excited for draft month. We got, uh, we're going to three episodes a week plus Breaking Big Blue, so we'll be back later this week of the breaking big blue and a mailbag.

But the player that they signed Sam Roberts to defensive tackle, just want to give a quick synopsis of him.

Six, five, three hundred years, 27 years old.

It was a six-round pick by the Patriots four years ago.

Never really got any playing time until this past year for the Falcons.

He got about 102 defensive snaps.

On those 102 defensive snaps, he had 18 tackles, the sack, and a tackle for a loss.

I went and put on some film of him, which is the nice thing about the NFL pro film room,

which I think it makes it a little easier on some people. But it is good when you want to watch a guy who has barely played so you're not searching through, you know, games trying to spot him and stuff. And, you know, especially against the Patriots, I thought he did really good. I mean, he is a nose tackle, right? So he's not there to be the starter starter he's playing behind dexter lawrence but you know after watching dj davinson being the nose tackle

like this is a guy who could challenge for a roster spot like he did really well against scare

bradbury and the patriots he held up all right against miami so you know some decent

film again he's long strong he plays at the high pad level um but he was able to shed

blocks fairly decently and with the current defensive tackle room configuration

it's a mess you know you have dexter lawrence and then after that i think it's as wide up and is it

going to be darius alexander is obviously going to be counted on to take a big step in year two but like we don't

know what we're going to get with him right he was a he was a terrible run defender last year he you know
