This is the podcast where we talk about elements of the scriptures that have helped them become more real to us.

And we believe that helps us draw more power out of them and we need all the help we can get.

I'm your host, Kerry Mulestein, and I'm happy to have back with me, my good friend, colleague, former roommate, whatever you want to, former high school, maybe whatever you want to call him, Dr. Dan Belknap, who you've already heard from once and you'll hear from later. And ironically, that was actually the first one recorded. So that's the longest introduction. You'll get that later when we do Hebrews. But anyway, let me just tell you a little bit.

If you haven't heard, you should go back and listen to the episode on the second half of

Romans with Dr. Belknap.

But he did his bachelor's in Near Eastern Studies at BYU and then went to the University

of Chicago and got his PhD there and has been teaching at BYU basically ever since

and is just a great colleague and friends. So welcome, Dan. Thanks. It's going to be back.

And I should say he has a wonderful wife and wonderful children. So we should put that in there.

Aaron, I should say that as Julianne is the saint for putting up with me, Aaron is the

saint for putting up with Dan. Oh, no question. It was a full Mary up. There's no question.

Yeah. Yeah. Well, Dan, today we're doing Second Corinthians. So we're, we finish the first letter

and we're into the second letter and a bunch of stuff happens in between. But anyway, we've got 2 Corinthians chapter 1 through 7.

So why don't you just tell us where you'd like to go in there?

Well, I don't know.
