Hey everybody, we got a great one today you know for a change Dan Ball's chief

correspondent of the Washington Post is back with us and as spectacular as his last one was this one just confirms Dan status as the second best political reporter in the country the best being Ron Brownstein of the Atlantic Monthly. I've never had Ron on, I don't know why,

but Dan is not a poor man's Ron Brownstein by any means. No, Dan is magnificent in his own right and I think this winning

delightful conversation proves that the Al-Franken podcast can more than make up

for the stincers we produce on a somewhat regular basis.

Now this is a great one and we have what I call a wide-ranging conversation showing

not just Dan's encyclopedic of Knowledge, but mine as well.
