a long and windy road road from my home where I normally record this show to to the what

so I'm in the home of of noted punk rocker game neighbor ham the host of his own podcast turned

out of punk yes media celebrity did did a show per vice called the wrestlers great show by the way

thank you Joey I really appreciate that he's a lot coming for you I mean that honestly and and

he's he was kind of to say W.H. you know for the last show of 2020 why don't you come to my

house and we'll talk about kind of not the 90s of all Japan but the 80s of all Japan because we're

gonna talk about somebody Damien has met in person who started off in all Japan in the 80s and then

he came a bigger figure in the 90s somewhere else but we'll talk about him in a second but uh

Damien thank you for so much for inviting me over here it's an honor to have you here because I've

been a fan of you for a long time speaking you know continue on the long and winding road I think

you know yourself talking about Japanese pro wrestling kind of bringing it into because at the time

you know like now it's a different world we live in where there's a lot more sort of accessibility

to Japanese wrestling product for people in North America and in English speaking world but at

the time it was still pretty underground nine friends that traded tapes so I kind of was

familiar with it but it was like you and your former broadcasting partner kind of contextualizing

a lot of stuff hearing that and the work of Bahu FMW and Bahu's work kind of preserving that stuff

and mouth mouth doing those FMW DVDs that was like this is what got me into this stuff so it's an

honor to be here I feel like being a fan of the show I'm one of the least knowledgeable guests you

will ever have on here but I do have personal experience that relates to the top that's the most

important thing but it's okay you don't have to be a huge fan of 90s old Japan to be on this
