Our guy today, we got a special guest on the podcast.

His name is Demani Felder, so he is a conservative Christian political commentator

and he and I became fast friends a few months back when we were down in Dallas for the

world premiere of Uncle Tom to and obviously I've had the guys from Uncle Tom to and

Uncle Tom won here on this show, but he and I, you know, like I said, we became fast friends

and we had some good discussions and it's like, okay, I got to get a guy like this on

the podcast.

And I say a guy like this, the interesting thing about it is if you listen to the podcast,

we don't mention for a long time that he's actually a black man, which shouldn't matter,

but a lot of things that we're talking about in our cultural moment are obsessing at the

altar of immutable characteristics like the level of melanin in your skin and just hearing

him talk about that and talk about all these different subjects was really, really refreshing.

We actually started by talking about the midterm elections and again, guys, I'm recording

this on Friday, November the 11th.

So this is maybe a week and a half before it's released and so by then, hopefully Arizona

and Nevada get their crap together and you know, we're well into what's going to, you

know, the runoff election there in the state of Georgia.

But overall with this conversation, we talked about blackness in America.

We talked about this victimization mindset that a lot of people get growing up because

for a guy like to money, he was raised in a Christian household in a military family

...
