Welcome to another NFC East, NFC West, crossover episode. Brian Peacock here of

0:18.4

Lockton 49ers. I'm with Landon McCool of Locked on Cowboys, a storied rivalry.

0:25.0

Landon, you and I were just off the air talking a little bit about some older games.

0:28.4

I think that's a fun way to begin this thing because the Niners and Cowboys rivalry goes way back

0:34.4

obviously they've played since the 60s but really starting with the catch that

0:39.4

was the beginning of the 49ers dynasty then so many great matchups and NFC

0:43.4

championship games in the 90s. Less important recently games, but there have been

0:48.7

some good ones recently and actually the Cowboys own the 49ers the last five of six going to Dallas so the

1:31.5

been back once.

1:33.0

I think, you know, it shows you how different things are from maybe their heyday or at

1:39.6

least their last heyday of the 90s.

1:42.0

And the Niners obviously finding their way back into the

1:44.7

Super Bowl again last year and really kind of establishing themselves as one of the

1:48.8

best teams in the NFC and a team that is obviously a favorite or in the conversation to go right back in the Super Bowl next year.

1:56.0

And my memory is terrible and I was looking back at some of these games and you brought up a game about when Tony Romo got hurt against the 29th.

2:05.0

Yeah, I think it was the 2011 season.

2:07.0

And we were like, what was that?
