Another team that I really wanted to wait until we had seen them in preseason was the Dallas,

Maffirks and a lot of that was due to Luca Doncic, who really wanted to see what he looked like,

what the reports were and joining us to talk about the maps this off season and everything Doncic

is a Tim Kato of the athletic I didn't. I'm good how are you? Doing really well. I'm excited to talk

Luca Doncic, especially with all the glowing reports that started to emerge about him even in

September during some of their scrimmages, jerk, who was talking him up in particular. I think

even Carlisle was if I remember correctly. So why are you just bringing us up to data on what we've

seen from Doncic so far in this preseason? Yeah, obviously, he's been the big mystery. Even

though there's more game tape of him out there than any other player, it still feels like just

because we're so used to looking at college footage and college stats that there is still a question

of what really Luca could do. But I think he's been great. He's been great in the three preseason

games. One of them came against a Chinese team, so you know, subpar, not NBA competition, but you know,

he's been effective against the Philadelphia in China as well in the two preseason games. His

jumper looks great. That's the thing I heard even in training camp that there's no concerns

about his jump shot. When he gets open looks, he's going to knock those down. And beyond that,

you know, he's he's somewhat sometimes going to get swallowed up by a criticism, you know,

from opposing defenses and things like that. But you know, so is everybody, you know, to some degree.

You know, he's not not lightning quick, but he's still going to get to the rim when he needs to.

His passing is, you know, just about as advertised. You know, he's probably going to be a little turn

over heavy this year, but you know, what we're passing ball. Yeah, and you know, you mentioned that

there's all this tape of him. And you know, he was number one on my board, number one on a lot of

people's boards. Those people do not work for the Phoenix Suns or the Sacramento Kings or the
