Well, two days ago we felt like these might be a pretty simple series as the home teams took care of business easily in game one.

O contrary, say the Dallas Mavericks and the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Let's begin with OKC Dallas since we just finished that one up on playback.

Definitely a fun, definitely a fascinating game where he had a lot of different dynamics going in place and we wondered

what kind of adjustments we were going to see from game one to game two and one of the other things that wasn't well actually no we could phrase it as an adjustment that that's the way I'm going to do it is so

Luca Donchich started game one really hot he was three of his first four shots. We got really excited.

Oh, maybe Lucas back and everything like that. Then he went three of 16 from the field for the

remainder of the game. Luca again starts out super hot and Mark Degnalt in the Thunder changed their approach and that yielded some very different

Maverick shots that is a tactical decision worth discussing.

Yeah it is.

And the biggest part of that, though,

was that Dantich just looked so much better physically.

And maybe he wasn't fantastic with the step back three still. That I think is a little bit harder for him that's the play where you really have to kind of get your legs into it that still looked flat but he was able to get to his spots a little bit more and so the initial initial approach from OKC was that they were going to be

bringing in extra defenders towards the nail. Kaysen Wallace was doing a lot of this. And of course they were just

leaving open certain guys from Dallas like

Derek Jones Jr who ended up not closing this one because he wasn't hitting

shots and because they the biggest thing that OKC doesn't want to do is they don't want to give up the dunk on the role.

Like that's a 98% shot.

And so that's the thing that they can't give up.

But they also didn't want

Luca and Kyrie to go crazy on them. So what they did is they were just
