there are a host of people dressed in white surrounding the throne of God, and that they cry out,

according to Revelation, day and night, how long, oh Lord,

how long until you vindicate us? Not just vindicate yourself, not just how long until you set the record straight in regards to your own glory.

That is first.

That is ultimate.

But the Bible says that the martyrs, those who were killed for their faith and fidelity to Christ,

they are dressed in white surrounding the throne of God,

crying out, how long, how long, until you set the record straight on our behalf,

until you vindicate us.

Read the Psalms.

David again and again, he doesn't just say, God, my enemies surround me, deliver me for your namesake.

He does say this.

And this again is always first and ultimate.
