Lord and made vows. This is significant. The last thing we'll focus on. The men actually feared the

calming of the sea the most. So they fear the storm. Then they fear the God in the storm or over the storm with authority

Jonah's God, the Triune God, and then the storm ceases, and this would be the moment for the fear

to cease along with it. Typically, once the threat has been neutralized, then the terror would go away along with it.

But here, in Jonah chapter one, is where we find these sailors most afraid, not least afraid.
