fighting men of Israel, which is over 30,000 to defeat. Why? Why does it take over 30,000 men to defeat a city with only 12,000

population, including women and children, total? There are giants in the sky. Big tall, terrible

giants in the sky. They're giants. That's why. And what we see is God supernaturally,

Joshua holds out, God commands him to do this, holds out his javelin, and he keeps his arm

outstretched until there's a total taking of the city. The city is in flames, goes up in smoke,

and everyone is wiped out.

Meaning this. Israel was dependent on the supernatural strength and power of God to defeat superior opponents, Jericho, and seemingly inferior opponents, AI.

God will not share his glory with another. God is determined,

insisting that Israel will only attain success and victory by his providence, by his power,

by his supernatural strength. And he's saying that these enemies, whether they be many or few, you're not just

fighting against mere flesh and blood. There's a bigger story going on. And you're going to need

me every step of the way. So the big ideas of Joshua 8 is one, whether we fight big

enemies or small enemies, follow this script.

Do what God says. Don't think, hey, we needed God for Jericho, we don't need them for AI,

let's just take 3,000 men and get it done. Uh-uh. No, they need God to give them the strategy.

Hold out a javelin. What's that got to do with anything?

It's supernatural. You won't do it without my supernatural help. We stick to the script.
