Jesus said, man cannot live on bread alone, but from every word that proceeds from the mouth

of God. You're listening to Daily Truth. On the cross where Jesus died, the wrath of God

was satisfying. It is finished. Not it has begun. It is finished not it is begun it is finished

Jesus has taken upon himself all of your sin and Jesus has endured the

just punishment for your sin again 1 John 1 John 4, 17 through 19, by this is love perfected with us,

that we may have confidence for the day of judgment. There is no fear in love, but perfect love

cast out fear. For fear, the particular fear that's being spoken of in the context of this text

is a fear that has to do with punishment. And whoever fears has not been perfected in love.

So we don't fear, but rather we love because God has first loved us.

And what example, what demonstration, what proof do we have that God has first loved us?

That while we were still weak, and Christ died for the ungodly.

Very rarely would anyone die for a righteous man, though for a good man,

someone might possibly dare to die. But God perfectly demonstrates his love for us in this,

that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. The matter of God's love for us is settled. For those who are in Christ by grace through faith, there is no reason to question or to doubt the love of God. What further proof

do we need if he who is not willing even to spare his own son but freely gave him up for us all,

how much more will he not with Christ freely give us all things? The proof is in the pudding. In this

particular instance, the proof is in the blood. Jesus died. He died for his enemies. He died for you. And the love of God

has been so perfectly proven for us in the gospel of Jesus Christ that no fear should remain.
